Vintage motorcycles are beautiful works of art and the country’s finest collection is just a short ride from downtown Columbus. Unfortunately, not many people were even aware it existed. Using a modern yet classic look, we showcased the museum’s motorcycles and intrigued people to come for a visit with pithy headlines. Relying mainly on posters, outdoor, and 1/3 page ads in the city’s free weekly event newspapers, this campaign helped drive more traffic to the museum. In a guerilla effort, the ads were turned into magnets and placed on cars in the parking lots at other cultural destinations. This did more than just boost attendance it also provided a popular new souvenir to sell in the gift shop.
